I don’t understand the value one use of the drone tracks. Are they just used as a backing track while playing scales?
Thanks for asking, Von. Intended primarily as a stable “one chord” background to improvise over in any tonality (major, minor, mixolydian, dorian, etc) you wish, while also doing ear training. Hint: Doing so requires establishing a deep sense of form and rhythm. Cheers. man!
