Hello, World!

A warm welcome to Piano-ology students, teachers, and friends from around the globe!

I (Frank) would very much like to know your musical interests so that I can make piano-ology as valuable to you as possible.

  • Are you a student? Teacher? Performer?
  • What instruments do you play?
  • What are your musical life goals?
  • What kinds of music do you enjoy playing most?
  • What aspect of music-making do you find most challenging?
  • What aspects of musicianship would you like to learn more about?
  • Any any ideas for improvements to the site.
  • And if you feel comfortable sharing, where do you live?

Thanks & Peace,
Frank

  1. Hi, I’m from Brasil, I’m a music teacher or used to be before the lock down. I started to teach last year and I was kind of lost. I knew that I wanted to do, to teach differently. In my journey to find out how to teach differently I came across some amazing sites, like yours. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.

    1. Bom dia, Carolina! Thanks you so much for checking in and for the most kind words of appreciation. It is especially satisfying when teachers like you discover my work and resonate with the messages I am trying to share. All the best to you in music and life! (And please be safe during this crazy time)

  6. Hello, From USA!

I learned to play piano using solfeo as we say In the Dominican Republic. I have not played in 35 years. Your lessons reminded me of many things I’d forgotten, so thank you. I’m a beginner again after playing for 13 years so long ago 🙂

    1. I am happy to hear that you rediscovered your love of music after 35 years. All the best on your new journey!
