  1. Thanks for all the great content you posted!
I’m 40 and have been teaching myself piano for a few months now and have just stumbled upon your YouTube videos and website. I too have a natural affinity to music, though it took me a lot longer to get around to actually play piano.
After learning the major scale in all 12 tonalities, I’m now studying the minor scales.
My approach is to learn the minor scales in all tonalities in this order :
    1st Natural
    2nd Harmonic
    3rd Melodic
ie. only after mastering the Natural Minor scales in all 12 keys will I move on to the harmonic and then the melodic.
I learn the minor scales in the context of the relative major scale for each key.
I also chose to first learn the scale in the 1st group of keys: C D E G A, because they share the same fingerings so it makes more sense to me to go about it this way.
Which keys would you recommend to move onto next? Do you have better suggestions?

    1. Thanks for the words of appreciation, my friend. Before I offer my suggestions for study-practicing scales, can I ask you to move your question to the page related to the question… https://piano-ology.com/scales/ … so that others might benefit from the answer. Thanks. Heads up… I am going to ask you what you mean by “master” and what you plan to do with your scales.
