Eighth, and final installment, in our series of commonly-used Major 12 bar Blues variations… 

The “variation” incorporate variations we have already seen combine in order to create lots of harmonic interest…


Listen to Frank playing an example based on the form above (Hint: play along with the basic chords above so that you start to hear and internalize the changes)…

Important: Notice that each variation preserves the three-phrase structural essence of the 12-bar form.
